I've been making things all my life.
For the past 20+ years it’s been ads. Mostly.
I’ve worked for Alex Bogusky, Rich Silverstein, Jeff Goodby and Lee Clow.
VP/Creative Director at Crispin, Porter + Bogusky's European headquarter until late 2010.
Creative Director and later Director of Innovation at Goodby Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco, on brands like Haagen-Dazs, Adobe, Google, TD Ameritrade, Nintendo, The Dali Museum and HP.
Moved to LA in 2014 to work for Apple at TBWA\Media Arts Lab (MAL). Here I worked on iMac, iPhone, iPad, Macbook and launched the global campaign for Apple TV. Also managed to squeeze in a short stint at sister agency TBWA\Chiat Day to make the 57th Grammy Awards campaign and win the AirBnb new biz pitch.
In 2016 I moved back to San Francisco to help my former coworkers build ARGONAUT. Here I worked on MetLife, Cricket Wireless and won two pieces of new business for Post Cereal and contributed on the winning pitch for Ghost Recon (Ubisoft) right before I left.
2019 I started the pleasant and scenic reverse commute across the Golden Gate Bridge to Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners (BSSP) to help the leadership team run Mitsubishi Cars, City of Hope Cancer Treatment Centers, Sovos Brands (RAO’s Sauce, Noosa Yoghurt and more). 5 months in I got promoted to GCD.
2020 I started freelancing for a number of agencies and brands globally, including McCann Germany, Deloitte Digital SF and more recently Deloitte Digital NYC and ØPUS United in LA, run by former Beats CMO Omar Johnson. Winning two pieces of new business and sold through 360 campaigns for some major brands (details available upon request). I ended up going full-time at Deloitte Digital and got introduced to the global consultancy world. My main focus here was working on branding projects for a vast range of clients, but also did a campaign for NYU Langone Health and got a bunch of certifications… like one in anti-corruption law. Yeah. At the end of 2022 I was heavily involved in Deloitte’s strategic alliance with ChatGPT and the implementation of AI in the branding process.
Since spring 2023 I’ve been doing contract work for Stagwell, launching a new AI product.
Bunch of awards. Cannes Lions, One Show, CLIOs, D&AD, Effies, Communication Arts etc.
Judged shows including One Show, CLIO Awards, D&AD, New York Festivals, Young Lions and ADC.
Co-written two books on digital marketing and advertising and I've been a featured speaker at several internationally acclaimed conferences, including Creativity-Online London, SXSW, Adobe MAX, Digital Marketing Live Amsterdam and at several marketing schools including Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
I also run my own publishing company - for various amazing art, documentary and music projects.
